BRITISH RECORDS
British records
are administered by the British Record, (Rod Caught) Fish Committee. If you think you have broken a British Record you must contact the NFSA immediately at, mailto:dr@nfsa.co.uk or by telephone 01364 644489
The fish will need to be weighed accurately, a weight certificate for the scales will have to be produced with the claim. The fish must be kept in a deep freeze until told what to do with it. Some fish will have to be sent for identification, others can be identified with photographs. Photographs of the fish must be taken, and show size, colour, fins and head, and with a ray, must include shots of the top or coloured side. A full list of records is printed in the NFSA diary available from the NFSA office.
This site will up date with all new records after they have been ratified. Check here first.
